We keep this short and plain. We collect only what we need to deliver your CV rewrite, we do not sell your data, and we delete it once delivery is complete.
RedundancyCV is a CV rewriting service based in the United Kingdom, operating at www.redundancycv.co.uk. We are the data controller for the personal data you provide when using this service.

When you submit an order, we collect:
When you make a payment, Stripe collects your payment card details directly. We do not see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/gb/privacy.
Our intake form is hosted by Tally. Tally's privacy policy is available at tally.so/privacy.
We collect your data to fulfil the service you have paid for. Our legal basis under UK GDPR is contract performance — we need your data to deliver what you have purchased.
We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than completing your order unless you separately consent.
We retain your CV and intake information for 30 days after delivery to allow for the free revision period. After 30 days, your original CV and all intake data are permanently deleted.
Basic transaction records (name, email, amount paid) are retained for 7 years as required by HMRC financial record-keeping rules.
We share your data only with the third-party tools required to deliver the service:

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
This website does not currently use analytics cookies or tracking pixels. The only cookies that may be set are those required by Tally (intake form) and Stripe (payment processing) to function correctly. These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled without preventing the service from working.
We will update this policy if we add analytics or advertising tracking in future.
We take reasonable steps to protect your data. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. CVs submitted via the intake form are accessible only to the person delivering your rewrite and are deleted after 30 days.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
